Evoking the way memories travel through her mind, the layered stories behind the walls that surround her personal spaces or cities and landscapes she explores, Tara Sakhi focuses on representing these non-linear impressions on her; the state of living simultaneously in the past, present and the future, through her photography series ‘Mystic Walls’.

She experiments with the texture of the film and uses photography tricks - notably double exposures - to represent these intangible fleeting feelings.

Her imagery often intentionally evokes superfluous messages, allowing the viewer to freely experience her images and surrender to the emotions triggered.
